ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE, a mural sized installation consisting of 55 encaustic painted panels gathered together, cohering, and united through affinities of pattern, color, shape, and subject.  Each abstract section of this work has been inspired by a variety of sources: game boards; Aboriginal dream painting; the African-American quilts of Gees Bend; labyrinths; and butterfly designs.  These combinations of traditions, cultures, and influences find individual expression in this encyclopedic work.  Commissioned by the Percent For Art Program of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the Queens Borough Public Library, and the Department of Design and Construction.
